Yesterday is independence day 2013. People celebrated the holiday in different ways. Some families went to state park or national park for camping, some people took short travels with friends. There are many different celebrations to cheer nation's birthday all over the U.S.A.. In Foster City, there was a great celebration from 8:00am to 9:45pm. According the schedule, a fabulous firework show began at 9:30pm sharp in Leo Ryan Park.
Many people came together at the park. They would like bring chairs, clothes and food to have fun. At night, I watched an amazing fireworks show far away from park. Many beautiful fireworks appeared in the sky at night. It's gorgeous and hard to describe in any languages. Even near midnight, I still could hear some sound like firecrackers. It likes the moment of Chinese New year festival.
Unfortunately, while people enjoy the wonderful fireworks, there are some dangers during the festival. Many policemen and firemen have to work. They have to organize crowed people for security in public. Firemen are on the alert for fire accident. In addition, people can buy fireworks from vendors. According CBS, "Fire departments in the greater San Francisco Bay Area
are on heightened alert as vendors in select cities in Santa Clara, San Mateo
and Alameda counties began selling fireworks on July 1." I think it's an issue for everyone. How can protect citizen from fire accident while they enjoy the fireworks?
